The TEDOM group has been operating in the area of communal and indurstial energetics since 1991. In that time, more than 2000 TEDOM cogeneration units have been installed, with a total electrical output of more than 500 MW.
TEDOM products are exported to more than 40 countries in the world.
Most companies in the TEDOM group are certified according to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 norms.
While the mother company TEDOM a.s. concentrates mainly on the development, manufacture and sale of cogeneration units, subsidiary companies are involved in project financing, the reconstruction and operation of heating-energetics systems and central heating sources. We have the experience that comes from carrying out of several tens energetics projects; annually we produce more than 0,9 mil. GJ of heat, and over 100.000 MWh of electrical energy.
TEDOM is one of the biggest producers of „green electricity“, as many of cogeneration units are operated in landfills, that make use of landfill gas to produce electricity. Landfill gas contains rather high percentage of methane, which belongs to the most agressive gasses causing greenhouse effect. Making energy use of landfill gas, we contribute to the environment.
The total emission reductions of CO2 through operating of production of heat and electricity in TEDOM holding and TEDOM energy resources at landfills are 245 320 t/year.
