avia  cogeneration  heating  plant  in  Praha

The cogeneration heating plant sited in the Avia plant in Prague uses waste gases from two large Prague dumps in Ďáblice and Dolní Chabry and their operator is TEDOM s.r.o.. Electricity and heating from all units is used to 100%, and the units are in operation 24 hours a day. Their annual running adds up to 90%. The electricity is sold to the network and the heat is used to cover the consumption needs of the Avia site, while the remainder is delivered to the Letňany housing estate.
